Outfest champions LGBTQ+ storytelling through film, education, and community. What began as a festival has grown into a year-round ecosystem supporting both emerging and established creators—while building spaces for audiences to gather, connect, and celebrate.

‍From artist labs and master classes to groundbreaking programming like Outfest Fusion QTBIPOC Film Festival, Outfest nurtures bold, original work that challenges norms and reflects the full spectrum of LGBTQ+ experience. No other LGBTQ+ organization supports the entire life-cycle of film, television and streaming content, from ideation and development, to production and distribution, to archiving, preservation and restoration.

As we work in 2025 to refocus our work and build an organization that is responsive to the changing needs of our community and our storytellers, your support matters more than ever. Membership

While there will be screenings, a mini-festival, workshops and labs, Outfest will look different this year and be smaller in scale. Our Membership program is currently paused as we solidify this programming and relevant member benefits.
