Outfest champions LGBTQ+ storytelling through film, education, and community. We are a year-round ecosystem supporting both emerging and established creators—while building spaces for audiences to gather, connect, and celebrate.
From artist labs to festivals, Outfest nurtures bold, original work that challenges norms and reflects the full spectrum of LGBTQ+ experience. No other LGBTQ+ organization supports the entire life-cycle of film - from development, to production and distribution, to archiving, preservation and restoration.
As we work to rebuild, your support matters more than ever. In this moment when funding for the arts and LGBTQ+ community is being withdrawn, it is the individuals of our community that will be the driving force in our growth.
Membership
While there will be more screenings, a mini-festival, workshops and labs in the near future, Outfest will look different in 2026 and be smaller in scale. Our Membership program is currently paused as we solidify the program and relevant member benefits. We will make an announcement in early 2026 when the program is restarted. Our Major Donor program below has been updated to reflect our 2025-2026 programming.
