About the Gala
The annual Outfest Legacy Awards Gala is the premiere fundraiser supporting Outfest Forward, our mentoring and educational programs, as well as the Outfest UCLA Legacy Project in partnership with the UCLA Film & Television Archive, the largest LGBTQIA+ moving image archive in the world. Join us in person at the Academy Museum for a night of glamour and excitement as we celebrate our honorees and kick off Outfest’s 40th Anniversary.

Our goal for this event is to create an environment that is safe & comfortable for everyone. All attendees (and their guests) should get a test at a location of their choice, or an at-home test.
Please arrive with proof of your negative PCR or Rapid test that was taken within 72 hours – in the form of a picture of the negative test result with a timestamp OR paper documentation of the negative test. PLEASE DO NOT BRING THE ACTUAL TEST AS PROOF.
There is no need to upload proof of vaccination beforehand, but please have your physical vaccine card or digital copy ready at check-in.
We highly recommend attendees complete testing Wednesday 11/10 – Thursday 11/11 to have receipt of results by 11/13 to attend The Legacy Awards Gala.
