This unflinching look at the Ferguson Uprising follows bold activists and young queer leaders demanding justice for Michael Brown. The unarmed teenager’s killing by police—his body left lying in the street—marks a breaking point for St. Louis residents. Grief, long-standing racial tensions, and anger unite the residents around vigils and protests of this tragedy. In the heat of this battle, the leadership of queer women shows us that the movement’s most powerful weapon is revolutionary love.
