Members must show their cards at the box office when picking up tickets purchased by mail. A list of new members who do not yet have a card will be at the box office. Once you buy a Membership, your ticket discount will be honored immediately

Tickets are available three weeks in advance at the box office if you come in-person during box office hours (open 2 hours before the first screening of the day, closed 30 minutes after the last screening of the day). Walk up ticket purchases are at the Egyptian Theatre, 6712 Hollywood Boulevard. You can also mail an order (American Cinematheque, 6712 Hollywood Boulevard, Los Angeles, CA 90028). Your mail order must be received five (5) full business days in advance of the date of the first show on your order.

All MAIL orders must include (* Incomplete ticket orders cannot be processed.):
• Name of Movie or Movies
• Date & Time of Movie
• Number of tickets to each movie.
• Your First & Last Name as it appears on the credit card. Visa or Mastercard only (specify type).
• The credit card number.
• The expiration date on the credit card.
• Your signature
• A day-time and night-time phone number AND e-mail address.
• Members do not pay a handling fee.
• Only Members can pay by check (sent through the mail).
• Tickets are not available on the phone.
• Your tickets will not be mailed. You will pick them up at will call when you come to the first show on your order.
• Tickets cannot be reserved without payment.
• Vouchers are only accepted at the box office and cannot be mailed in advance.

The general public may purchase tickets in person at the box office. There is no handling charge when you buy at the box office.

The majority of our customers buy their tickets at the door the night of the screening they want to see, so there are usually long lines 20 minutes before a screening is about to start. To avoid waiting in long lines, when you come to the box office to purchase advance tickets (for a program in the future), avoid peak hours such as the hour before a show starts. On nights where there is more than one show, come once the first movie has gone in and you'll walk right up, or stop by during the afternoon. Should you purchase advance tickets? Well, we do sell out especially when we have guests, so if you don't handle disappointment well, get your ticket in advance. Remember, when you become a member of Outfest you have the privilege of purchasing tickets in advance.

All advance ticket sales are final. No refunds or exchanges. It is assumed that events are not sold out unless specifically stated on this site. Many events sell out at the door in the hour before the screening. The best way to make sure you get a ticket is to buy a ticket in advance. Especially for events listed as "premieres" or "ultra-rare" screenings -- or that have celebrity guests. However, many events sell out at the door.

There will be a waiting list line for sold-out shows that will form in the courtyard the day of the screening.

Only Members may purchase tickets in advance (without a $1/ticket handling charge) by mailing in a credit card order. Checks and Traveler's Checks are not accepted at the box office. We DO ACCEPT Cash, Visa & Mastercard.

No autographs (unless a booksigning is advertised); no video/audio taping inside the theatre.

Prestige Parking NO LONGER offers Egyptian Theatre patrons validated parking.

The Hollywood & Highland complex has a $2-for-4-hours rate when you get validated in any shop, restaurant or theatre that is part of that mall OR get a validation at the Egyptian. If you stay longer than 4 hours you pay $1.00 every 20 min. or a $10 flat rate.

South of Hollywood Blvd. there are attended lots on McCadden Place and on Las Palmas. Parking is $5-$8 flat rate maximum.

There is a Municipal parking lot on Cherokee just north of Hollywood Blvd. on the east side of the street (north of the Egyptian across the street and east of Musso & Frank's) The first two hours are $1. Rates are posted for additional time. Pay in advance.

Meters are free after 6pm and on Sundays. There is also free street parking on Selma and other area side streets.

EVENTS NOT LISTED: The Egyptian is sometimes rented for premieres and special events. If you see an event advertised that is not listed in our schedule then it is not an American Cinematheque event. You will need to contact the event organizers for tickets and information. Rental information can be obtained by calling 323.461.2020, 124.
