Jamie Babbit is my new favorite…teacher.

Jamie Babbit is my new favorite…teacher. If you want to learn the art of creatively directing your short or feature, working with actors, breaking down a scene and choosing the best way to get coverage, come to her workshop on directing this weekend at the Fusion Lab. Babbit is best know for her feature BUT I’M A CHEERLEADER and has an extensive amount of episodic television under her belt, but to witness her teach can change your life, and obviously your career. It’s no surprise there are only a few spots left in her workshop, so you better commit to your craft and clear your schedule for this Sunday afternoon March 10th at 2pm. Sign up!

Jamie Babbit has directed the feature films BUT I’M A CHEERLEADER, THE QUIET, and THE ITTY BITTY TITTIE COMMITTEE. She has also directed many TV shows including “The L Word,” “Ugly Betty,” “Smash,” “Alias” and “The Middle.” She is a lesbian mother of two who lives in Los Angeles.
