Mission

The Outfest Alumni Program is committed to the continued support and growth of our filmmakers. We believe Outfest plays an active role in helping them achieve their professional goals – now and in the future.

Vision

The Outfest Alumni Program looks to serve as a vital tool for filmmakers, helping to create a path to professional stability and broader audience awareness of their work. By supporting our LGBT storytellers we help to foster new stories and ultimately increased understanding and acceptance of LGBT people everywhere.

In the next year we will be rolling out more benefits and activities including:

  • Special Events and Networking Opportunities
  • Alumni Credentials at Outfest Events
  • An Outfest Curated Kickstarter page for Alumni projects
  • Promotion of Alumni Projects on Outfest Facebook page and twitter feed

*You must have been writer, producer, director, cinematographer or editor of an Outfest or Fusion film or a participant in our Screenwriting Lab, OutSet or special screenings to qualify for this discount. When you call you must include your film(s) title and year it played at Outfest or Fusion, or identify the year you participated in the Outfest Screenwriting Lab or OutSet.
