Purchase In Person
Tickets can be purchased in person beginning on June 30th between 11:00am and 7:00pm daily at the Directors Guild of America, 7920 Sunset Blvd., Hollywood. Many screenings sell out before the festival, so please make sure to check the “Sold Out” Board when you get there.

General Ticketing Information
Does a ticket or an Outpass guarantee me a seat?
You need to be in line 15 minutes prior to the start time of a program to ensure your seat. Seat saving is not allowed so every one with a ticket must be in line to get a seat. We do not guarantee late seating.
Does my Outpass get me in to everything?
Your Outpass gets you into all regular screening programs. Outpass holders will receive hard tickets for the Opening Night Gala, Awards Night & Closing Night. Special Evens also require a separate ticket purchase (Legacy Project Gala, Boom!)
I haven’t received my tickets in the mail yet– what should I do?
If you ordered your tickets before June 27th and you are an Outfest Member your tickets will be/were mailed out. If you are not a member you can collect you tickets at the DGA starting June 30th or at the venue of your first program. Don’t fret – call our Festival Box Office and one of our staff members will gladly assist you.
What if I have tickets to back-to-back screenings in the same theatre?
If you hold tickets to back-to-back screenings in the same theatre, you may stay in the theatre rather than join the ticket holder line outside. Similarly, Outpass holders who wish to attend consecutive screening in the same theatre may remain in the theatre
between screenings.
How can I make the most of my Ford screening experience?
You can bring a picnic dinner and wine to enjoy before your screening. The Ford offers a selection of food and beverage items for sale as well, but they accept CASH ONLY and there is no ATM on site. And remember to leave enough time to park and walk up the hill. Please do note that the Ford is a cash-only venue.
How early for my screening should I get in line?
For popular Outfest screenings, lines can form well in advance. While the Outfest staff and volunteers will do everything possible to minimize wait times and seat all guests as soon as possible, we do recommend arriving well in advance of each screening (a half-hour minimum).
What are Day-of-Show ‘Door Only’ Tickets?
On the day of the screening, tickets are for sale at ALL venues, subject to availability. Theater box offices open 1(one) hour prior to the first screening of the day, and ends 15 minutes after the last screening begins.
If day-of-show tickets are no longer available then rush tickets may be purchased, subject to availability. Day of show tickets are discounted for students and seniors only.
Seating is only guaranteed until 15 minutes prior to screening. No late seating.
What is an Outpass?
A generous allotment of seats at every screening are reserved for Outpass holders. While a pass does not guarantee seating, Outppass holders are allowed priority entry up to 20 minutes before scheduled program start time. Outpass holders are strongly encouraged to arrive at least 30 minutes before showtime. All Outpasses are strictly nontransferable and photo ID may be requested by theater staff.

No refunds or exchanges are given, except in the case of program cancellations.
Film length, as listed in the program, represents the best available information at press time. Length of film does not include introductions or Q&A sessions following the screening.
Cameras, camera phones and recording devices are not permitted in the theater. Please silence all cellular phones, pagers and watches when in the theater.
No babes in arms and, with the exception of the Family Day, no children under six years old will be admitted. Please be aware that films may not be suitable for ages 18.
