Individual Giving Manager
Status: Exempt/Full-Time Year-Round

Reports to: Director of Development
Supervises: Special Event Consultants, Volunteers

Job Responsibilities:
• Execute an annual strategy for both new and renewing members and major donors.
• Research prospective new and current major donors.
• Manage member and major donor direct mail, email and phone banking campaigns.
• Assist with planning and execution of major donor cultivation, solicitation and/or appreciation events as well as other fundraising events.
• Process all memberships and keep accurate and organized records.
• Generate acknowledgement letters for all memberships and gifts.
• Manage major donor database in Filemaker Pro including records of all asks and contributions.
• Manage correspondence including HTML mass emails and printed materials for members.
• Undertake projects and duties as assigned by Director of Development.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of two (2) years experience working in Individual Giving or Membership department at a non-profit organization.
• A commitment to Outfest’s mission and an understanding of its five programs and their role in the broader LGBT Movement.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills; a high level of comfort with direct donor interaction, including discussions of personal and family finances.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills, including attention to detail.
• Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to manage several projects simultaneously and to succeed under pressure.
• Ability to be both engaging and professional when making presentations at events and meetings.
• Ability to work well with others and to exhibit strong interpersonal skills.
• Strong knowledge of Filmmaker Pro database, HTML, MS Office Suite applications and Internet.


Corporate Relations Assistant
Status: Exempt/Full-Time Year-Round

Reports to: Director of Development
Supervises: Special Event Consultants, Volunteers

Job Responsibilities:
• Assist in identifying, cultivating and solicit corporate sponsors & strategic partnerships in support of Outfest’s mission and across all five programs.
• Generate sponsor correspondence including powerpoint presentations, contracts, acknowledgement letters and sponsor brochures.
• Process all sponsorship payments and keep accurate and organized records.
• Coordinate sponsor benefit fulfillment.
• Solicit and coordinate the receipt of products and services from trade relationships (in-kind sponsors),
• Solicit and maintain trade (in-kind) media relationships.
• Coordinate silent auction at July festival and The Legacy Awards.
• Manage sponsor database in Filemaker Pro including accurate records of all invoicing and payment.
• Oversee invoicing and timely delivery of payment by corporate sponsors.
• Assist with planning and execution of sponsor solicitation and/or appreciation events as well as other fundraising events.
• Undertake projects and duties as assigned by Director of Development.

Qualifications:
• Minimum of one (1) year experience working in corporate sponsorship department or sales department.
• A commitment to Outfest’s mission and an understanding of its five programs and their role in the broader LGBT Movement.
