OUTFEST
HAS the most extensive
awards program of any gay and lesbian film festival, bestowing 14 awards
with cash prizes for film and video excellence. Three professional juries
acknowledge excellence in American features, international features and
documentary features. In addition, five audience awards are selected by
post-screening ballots. Our three special programming awards include Outstanding
Artistic Achievement, Outstanding Emerging Talent, and the Freedom Award.
